Meet Eric

I am first and foremost a follower of Jesus. His life inspires me to love better, serve more, and embrace the gift of life each and every day. My wife Rachel of 29 years, two grown kids Stephen and Sarah, and 14 year old Golden Retriever Andy are the joys of my life. Most of the adventures I’ve been on were with them. You’ll be hearing about them in future writings.

I started out in this life behind the proverbial 8 ball. Parents divorced, poor, no father figure, yada, yada. I know there are worse situations but this is where I found myself. However, through a series of timely influences I survived and even thrived. Now I’m determined to leave this place better than I found it. I want to encourage and inspire every person I come into contact with as often as possible. I hope you find that as you look through these writings.

Meet Rachel

This amazing woman has been the love of my life for more than 29 years now. We haven’t just existed together, no, they’ve been 29 great years. She is beautiful, brilliant, fearless, and loving all wrapped into one person. She loves Jesus, her family, and is one of the hardest workers I know. We have been on many adventures together and are looking forward to many more. Wow, what a wonderful lady!

Meet Stephen & Sarah

Stephen: Being the first born Stephen was raised by super young but loving parents who knew more of how not to properly raise children than how to. Thankfully love filled in the gaps, as it often does. Stephen is adventurous, brilliant, creative and one of the most disciplined people I know. He has grown into an amazing young man who I’m thankful to not only call son, but friend.

Sarah: Sarah was born in November and decided she was ready to make her entrance during a rare November blizzard in Oklahoma. If you know Sarah at all you’ll immediately think, “that sounds about right.” You see, Sarah has a fearless, adventurous spirit that is itching to be set free. If Rach, Stephen, and I are a 10 out of 10 on the adventure side, Sarah is a 100. Like her mom she is beautiful, fearless, brilliant, and is FULL of love. She is an amazing artist and is passionate about life.

I love my babies!

Meet Andy

Andy was our 14 years, 8 months, and 21 days old Golden Retriever, and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better dog.  He loved his people, loved to go for rides in the truck, and would do almost anything for a bite of human food.  He was our traveling buddy.  He summited mountains, went on numerous hiking and camping trips, and was our fun-loving, goofy boy who we will greatly miss.
